It's Over: A picture recap of decorations only

Since July, I have been in motion getting a bridal shower together and preparing decorations for a wedding and reception.

In September I co~hosted the bridal shower. See post here.

October 10 consisted of going to the beautiful North Georgia Technical College to decorate the Common Room for the reception. Here are some before pictures.

I was not the only one setting up and decorating, the Mom and Aunt of the groom had stuff going on. Like the bar and the candy table and a hors d'oeuvres table. Sadly, I do not have any pictures of the full effects of the decorations.
But here are some of the individual table decorations from @ 1115.

The centerpiece for the bridal party tables.
And 2 of these were on each end of the bridal party tables.

The iPad was dying and I couldn't get any good shots of the whole scene. :(

And here are decorations from the wedding.

After the I do's and the newlyweds walked back up the aisle, Hubby and I grabbed the sign in stuff and headed off to set up the reception stuff.

I hope to get some pictures soon. I decorated and I served. I didn't get to take the pictures I would like to have.

Hope you liked the glimpse of Julie's wedding!
See y'all later,
Nancy Dawn

Goodbye Charlie

Went to let the geese out of their night pen this morning and found Charles missing.
No evidence of a struggle. Just gone.
I loved that ol goose. He wasn't mean. He was standoffish. But he was my first goose. My big baby. My dinosaur.
Charlie. His first day @ 1115

Charlie was telling me off!

Charles is the big guy on the far right.

Coming up the front steps to say Good Morning.

Snob!

Charlie, I was so happy the day you came to live here.
Today, I am so sad to find you gone.
Love you, you big dinosaur! RIP.
