Max Wants To Drive

There just isn't room enough for the two of us on this here mobile.

I got this Mom. I'm driving!

Max used to load up in the back of the Mule. But recently, he thinks he should be riding in the seat. Or, more accurately, he thinks he should get to drive!!!
What brought this about?
It was those little girl dogs what did it!

The girls are ALWAYS up for a ride

Max saw the girls getting to ride up front and decided he should get to ride up front too.
But for some reason, Max has taken it a step further. He thinks he should get to drive!

He ain't moving and neither am I!
So he sits on me.
Don't worry Dad, Mom ain't gonna fall off. I got her.
He leans on me.

Ok FINE. But I am still riding up here.

And finally turns his back on me.
But it's all good. I WON!
Max likes to be chased by the Mule and to race with it.

Y'all have a good day.
See y'all later,
Nancy Dawn

My Ruby Slippers Were Brokeded

Hubby is a technician. He works on equipment. Green and Yellow equipment specifically. Supposedly, Nothing Runs Like Em either. He got to go to school. I went with him.

I missed the farm before we ever loaded up and headed out. Once we got there, I was really miserable. I missed my Maximus Hound and the girls. And the geese. The rabbits. The guineas. Ok. The chickens and the bees too. I missed the dirt road.

On the farm, I don't hear jumbo jets coming in for landings and taking off at all hours of the night. On the other hand though, I don't have housekeeping to come through everyday and clean the room and change the sheets and....have you ever noticed how perfectly they make the beds? Makes me think of Seinfeld when Jerry and George went to California and George had the issue of Tuck or No Tuck.

But anyway, I was miserable. My blasted ruby slippers were brokeded. I closed my eyes. I clicked my heels. I said, "There's no place like home." And....nothing.

We made it home last night before ten. Max ignored me. He ignored me this morning. It took a lot of apologizing and loving to get him to forgive me.

I do love these kiddos.

I am such a home~body. I love The Farm @ 1115.
That is just the way it is.

See y'all later,
